At the beginning of the season nobody would've thought that Tuck Perry would be one of the better hitters on the Colorado Pit Bull Breeders. Lacking a good grade by the scouts he was told to be just an average player. His contact was only spoken of as average and he would struggle vs. Left handed pitching. That certainly wasn't the case Perry managed to bat .344 and hit 29 Home runs along with driving in 93 RBI's. Perry could be considered one of the biggest surprise players of season 1.

Team Surprises

Albuquerque Dukes as they are now called would be my biggest surprise/upset team in the league. They had so much talent and fell short of the playoffs. Guys like...

Only made them struggle more. Albuquerque was the best hitting team in the entire ML but the pitching staff wasn't strong enough to take them to the post season. Maybe next season with some new additions or cutting some of the fat from the team they will improve on this and get passed this hump.
