Philadelphia, PA
27 games in and Philly has been probably the most dominant team in the AL based on who they beat and how bad they beat them. Philly swept Albuquerque, threw a no hitter against Montreal and took 2 of 3 off of Boston. Currently leading the AL East, Philly doesn't show signs of slowing down much. Slugger Valerio Pizzaro has been on fire along with 2B Bob Maas. However the real credit goes to the Pitching staff this season. Hank Cunningham is 4-0 starting off combining with the rest of the team to post a 4.54 era. Currently in the AL that is pretty low considering what others are doing.
Look for Philly to continue this pace unless they face a serious set back. Can Philly win the 2nd Division title in franchise history? Or Will Boston or Baltimore wake up and end the dream?
