Division Break Downs! AL WEST

San Francisco Seals 30-21 .588 ---
Albuquerque Dukes- 29-22 .569 1.0
Boise A's----------- 26-25 .510 4.0
Colorado Grizzlies--23-28 .451 7.0

San Francisco leads the AL West by 1 game, One of the biggest reasons for this lead is CF Rogers Womack. Womack has played in 51 games and has hit a total of 20 home runs and batting .317 on the season.

Albuquerque Dukes are a game out of first but you can say the reason they are still in contention to take the division is because of the acquisition of Phillip Parrish! Parrish joined the Dukes and since then he has hit 15 home runs and batting .350 for them. Bringing his season home run total up to 21 and his average is .329.

Boise A's.. Although they are 4 games out, they manage to be a threat to just about anyone playing them. Winston Ripken and Valerio Pizzaro are a pitchers nightmare.. Both men possess great power and the ability to change the game in a moments notice.

Colorado Grizzlies, trailing in the AL West probably due to losing a few stars.. Don't count them out just yet, With Luis Picasso and ML leader in Home runs, Blade Stevenson on the team they could come out of the cellar very quick. Colorado is known for the explosive offense at home. Will they continue to struggle or will they come around and start taking everyone down in their way of returning to the playoffs?
