Our 100th Post: Trading Floodgates Open

By KYLE KEOUGH
DOUBLE DAY DAILY

In this blog's 100th lifetime post (hold your applause, please), it seems fitting to patent our centennial with the inaugural opening of the season four trading season, which began once budgets were finalized early this morning.

Already, two trades have been finalized. The first, between the St. Louis Maroons and and Montreal Shamrocks, has already drawn some ire from fellow GMs - this reporter will refrain from commentating further on that situation, however.

In other news, the Maroons have had a busy morning in shipping P Ramon Martin to the Boston Beaneaters for C Lawrence Neal. Barring league approval, the deal would net Boston a high-profile starter, and the Maroons would receive in his stead a standout young catcher with a big bat.
