Louisville (HBD) -- Louisville police are scratching their heads this evening over the brazen theft of the Doubleday World championship trophy from the offices of the two-time champion Louisville Colonels sim baseball team.
"There were no signs of forced entry, no locks were forced open, and the glass of the team's trophy case was not broken," said Detective Shirley Knott of Louisville's finest. "It's almost as if someone was already inside the building, had the key to the trophy case, and then just walked out with the hardware!"
Colonels' General Manager Ralph Bedwell declined comment.
