AL SOUTH: Season Preview

St. Louis Maroons: Possibly the best Starting rotation in the AL, St. Louis has come out so far allowing the fewest runs scored in the AL. Probably the biggest threat to being the "NEW" AL Champ. This season won't be the Boston/Albuquerque show...

Huntington Heroes: Traded Inge for a future stud Closer and what some would all a good 1B with a great bat. They were still needing pitching until recently, Huntington made a deal wit Oakland that landed him some pitching but cost him RF Slugger and TEAM MVP Erv Hines. Not entirely sure if this move is going to help Huntington out but at the very least they will give up less runs.

El Paso Sun kings: As El Paso tried to get rid of the bigger contracts last season they managed to acquire some youth. This season they are starting out slow but that could be intentional.. El Paso is a quite a ways off of what they were 2 seasons ago but I have a feeling when this owner sees his plan through they will be one of the more dangerous teams in the AL.

Jackson Senators: The owners started the offseason trying to trade youth for experience. It didn't really bring in huge trades but the team still kept it's best assets.. However the free agent signing of Reid Paul is huge! Paul was a MVP runner up last season... Jackson had the pitching coming into this season and now they have added some offense. They are another favorite for atleast a wild card.
