NL East: Season Preview

Durham Tobacconists: World Series champs... What more can I say? They picked up SP Max Lopez off free agency to add to their already #1 rotation. However they have struggled in the first few games of the season. Don't let that fool you though, I still feel they are the team to beat.

Toldedo Maumees: Toledo currently leading the division made a few moves in the off season acquiring Corky Grant and Mitch Palmer. The story is still the same though. Being in the same division as Durham they will always be having to prove themselves every game. To silence the critics Toledo will have to win that division and claim the NL title! Can they do it? They have as good a chance as anyone.

Tampa Bay Seminoles: Very underrated.. Clouded by having two of the NL's top teams in the same division. Tampa Bay has found themselves playing for the future but yet possibly playing for now.. When asked, the Tampa Bay owner is not saying that he thinks they have no shot.. But at the same time he isn't too confident about taking the division..

Pittsburgh Crawfords: The best farm in the world easily. Still leaving the future All Stars in the minors, Pittsburgh is fielding a team that probably won't even compete for 3rd place in the division. We are still waiting to see the studs move up and play in the bigs.. When that happens I will pick them as the top team in the NL.
